Pink lenses

Eilen menin ystävän syntymäpäiville, ja halusin kokeilla ylleni jotakin, mitä en olisi hetkeen käyttänyt. Löysin pinkit UV-piilolinssini ja päätin kokeilla, toimivatko ne vielä. Olin yllättynyt siitä, kuinka hyvin ne oikeastaan sopivat turkooseihin hiuksiini ja pinkkiin huulipunaani. Olen yhä hieman ujo käyttämään eri värejä tämän tyylin kanssa. Pitäisi varmaan kokeilla värejä useamminkin.

Yesterday I went to a friend's birthday party and wanted to wear something I haven't tried for a while. I found my pink UV contact lenses and decided to try if they were still working. I was surprised how well they actually fit my turquoise hair and that pink lip stick. I'm still a bit shy of wearing different colors with this style. I probably should do it more often.

Linssit eivät ole ehkä ihan maailman mukavimmat. Oikeastaan, jokainen kokeilemani UV-linssi on hieman epämukava. Ne tuntuvat muovisemmilta ja kovemmilta, eivätkä hengitä yhtä hyvin. Sanoisin, että niitä käyttäessä kannattaa harjoittaa silmää hieman ennen pitempiaikaista käyttöä.

These lenses are not the most comfortable type. Actually, every UV lenses I've used have been a bit unconfortable. They feel a bit more plastic-like and hard and don't seem to breathe that well. So if using those, one should practise the eye a bit well before any longer use.
